We participate in conferences and trade shows both as speakers and exhibitors. We have been on the organizing committees of a number of small-business conferences. Our goal at business conferences has been to provide how-to seminars and to follow-up at our exhibit booth by helping attendees with their individual problems. EDUCATIONAL & BUSINESS BACKGROUND
| LINDA PINSON, owner of OUT OF YOUR MIND...AND INTO THE MARKETPLACE TM, is a nationally-recognized speaker, small business author, educator, consultant, and developer of business plan software. For three years, she chaired the Orange County Register "It's Your Business" Small Business Conference and has served on many other organizational committees for business expos and conferences.
Linda has co-authored six small business books that have been translated into foreign languages including Chinese, Italian, and Spanish. They are sold through major bookstores and are in most libraries throughout the United States. Her business plan software program, "Automate Your Business Plan," was placed in every SBA Business Information Center in the nation at the request of the SBA in Washington, D.C. Both the books and software are being used as course material in universities, colleges, vocational schools, SBDCs, and SBA classes.
Linda is a nationally-recognized expert in business planning and small business financial management. Her 23 years of experience as an author and her prior seven years as a small business owner have made her a popular media guest and presenter of business education programs throughout the United States where she shares not only the "how-tos", but also the avoidance of pitfalls in small business.
Before becoming an author, publisher, consultant and national speaker, Linda had the advantage of having owned and founded a successful clock and music box business in which she was active for ten years as one of the few clock repair women in the U.S. Linda has a degree in education from the University of Nevada, Reno and holds a California lifetime credential to teach Business & Industrial Management, Marketing & Distribution & Related Technologies in the California community colleges.
Linda's practical experience and business savvy, combined with a keen sense of humor, make her a valuable asset to her clients and a popular addition to any business program.
